• new user fields

    i am trying to figure out how to edit the "sign on as new user" fields and eliminate the address,phone#, and zip from the page and requirments but have not been succesful. How do i do this?

    This is how I did it

    go to c:\sbbs\text\html_templates

    edit newuser.inc

    and remove it there

    that will fix the display, but what do you do when it refuses to process the form when it see's no data in a mandatory field?
    i.e. You need to fix it's logic too.

    Thank you! I hadn't found those files yet. I had edited the nweuser.ssjs file and removed all reference to those fields. It appears you have to do both. that is edit newuser.inc and newuser.ssjs for it to work properly. I did get it to work in the last test.
